{Cover Reveals} SHADOWS IN THE SILENCE & Paperback SHATTER ME

~

I've got two cover reveal to show you, but the most one I'm excited for is the new titled third book in Courtney Allison Moulton's Angelfire series. :) She posted it here on her blog. HOLY CRAP.

Expected Release Date: January, 2013 (TOO LONG.)
Publisher: Katherine Tegen Books
Format: Hardback, N/App
Series: Angelfire, #3
Genre: YA Paranormal Romance
Pre-Order: Barnes and Noble | Amazon

In the final battle for Heaven and Earth, Ellie, who has the reincarnated soul of an ancient reaper-slayer, must grapple with her archangel powers to save herself and all of humanity.

My Thoughts: Oh. My. God. This has to be one of my most favorite top ten series of the short expanse of my 16 years of life. And this cover just tops out all of the covers in the trilogy. I. Love. It. So. Much. I love how the red in Ellie's hair clashes with the nature-green of the forest. It just makes me want to read it all the more. And more interested. ;)

Expected Release Date: October 16, 2012 (Paperback)
Publisher: HarperCollins
Format: Paperback, 368pp
Series: Shatter Me, #1
Genre: YA Dystopian, Romance
Pre-Order: Barnes and Noble | Amazon

Juliette hasn't touched anyone in exactly 264 days.

The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette's touch is fatal. As long as she doesn't hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don't fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.

The Reestablishment said their way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war-- and The Reestablishment has changed its mind. Maybe Juliette is more than a tortured soul stuffed into a poisonous body. Maybe she's exactly what they need right now.

Juliette has to make a choice: Be a weapon. Or be a warrior.

In this electrifying debut, Tahereh Mafi presents a world as riveting as The Hunger Games and a superhero story as thrilling as The X-Men. Full of pulse-pounding romance, intoxicating villainy, and high-stakes choices, Shatter Me is a fresh and original dystopian novel—with a paranormal twist—that will leave readers anxiously awaiting its sequel.

My Thoughts: To be honest, I liked the first cover better. And I haaaaaate when the publishers change the cover for the paperbacks. It's just stupid, and a waste of ink lol. But I do like this one, just not as much as I like the first hardback cover. But I'm glad Tahereh likes it. It always makes me happy when authors are raving. c:
