Oh my Cheez-Its. That can't be the ending. SO MUCH IS LEFT IN A CLIFFHANGERRR.

*le sigh* I don't want to say much, in fear of spoiling anything. But I will say that this is a somewhat satisfying ending to this series. I do believe I felt more sorry for Graves than anybody. Then Christophe. Hell, I felt sorry for Dru. But then it's like, Well you're kick-ass and stubborn. You'll find a way out of it eventually. And man, there was a lot of action in this one too. I mean, dur. You're going to expect a shit-ton of action in a Lilith Saintcrow book.

I feel like Graves wasn't in this book that much. I mean, I know it's nothing compared to Defiance. But still, this was the final book, and I feel like Christophe somewhat got all the heat. Even though I love him more than Graves. I still like Graves though. c:

There could definitely be a sixth book. And I'm not saying that like, "oh I heard somewhere that the author is writing another book." Noooo. I'm saying that like "there's a lot that's undone" type of way. Lili is notorious for endings like that, it seems. Her books leave you wondering. Big time. I read her Dante Valentine series that came out in one book... And it was weird. But a good type of weird. And it had an ending that was like..."WTF HAPPENS NOW?!" That's how I feel about the Strange Angels series. Like a few questions for instance. (Spoilery!!!!) Is Graves really coming back? Where does this leave Dru and Graves? Where does this leave Dru and Christophe? What's Dru's full name?

UGH. I wish there was a sixth one. :( But this was an awesome finale~

Awesome sequel to Born at Midnight. :D It was pretty neat that Kylie showed symptoms of a few different species. I'd love to know what the hell she is!

My thoughts on the characters
Derek was okay until a little more than halfway through the book. Jerk.
Miranda is adorable. I want to squeeze and hug her.
Della is funny as hell. I can relate to her though.
Kylie is...I don't even know. I will by the last book, hopefully.
Lucas is...ugh. <3 Team Lucas all the way~

This was an alright book. I wasn't too excited about it when I finished it. It seemed like everything was rushed in it. Like Sorin. He came up out of the blue. He should have been in the first book. There's nothing much to say about this, just that I wasn't really impressed with it. I mean, I was really liking it until the middle of the book. Everything sort of went downhill. But if you've read the first two books, then you need to read this. I can't guarantee what you'll be satisfied, but a few things happen that you need to know lol.

Hopefully the fourth book will be better, and tie everything up. Unless there's a fifth one.

This book. This book was very emotional in my opinion. Especially when it came to Cole and Grace as individuals. They both were going through the first crucial part of the shifting process, and it was hard to get through. In my eyes, I found it hard to read without cringing. It was that emotional. Maybe it's because I've stuck to this series since Shiver came out, and I've gotten that into it. I don't know. But that's how it was.

It was fascinating to watch Grace transform from a innocent, love ridden girl, to a new kind of species on her behalf. She seemed stronger than before. Still a bit stubborn, but strong. Confident even. I loved that part about her. Despite the pain on her part, I think becoming a wolf was best for her.

Sam and Grace is an example of true love, from day 1, he loved her when she was attacked by those wolves. You could tell it. They stuck by each other through all of this. It's a different kind of love. But you can sense the ferocity of it.

I loved how Maggie ended the series. It wasn't quite a cliffhanger, but it left you guessing, "What happens to Sam and Grace now that they're both wolves?" or, "What happens to Cole and Isabel relationship? Will it blossom into something?" And among other questions that would give away too much. ;)

Cole has to be my favorite character. Not because he seems like the bad-boy type. But because of what he's been through. He's a tormented person trying to set himself free. Which is quite literal in a sense. I feel for him, I really do. Plus Isabel just needs to loosen up and give into him. Seriously lol.

This is the last book of the series, and it's a damn good and painful way to end it. I approve.

Now. Time to go to bed and cry myself to sleep and be depressed.

So I've Been Thinking...

Because I’ve read so many books… That if something like, say…a vampire attack happened. Or a werewolf coming up to me, telling me that I’m destined to be his mate. Or some Faerie folk kidnapping me because I had “gifts.” Or a witch casting a spell on me that makes me able to see the future. Or demons and angels breaking out into a hellacious war because I fell in love with the wrong person. You know, something of that sort.

I’d be okay with it.

I mean, my life is boring as hell as it is. I’d actually love for that to happen. Man, I’d be like:

“Take me. I’m fucking ready. I don’t give a damn.”

Oh, my wonderful mind. <3

I found my review of CoFA. :) It's kinda old, about a week before it came out is when I read it.

Firstly, it was way better than I expected it to be. Definitely. But it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be emotionally. Although I did wince at the ending. That was totally and completely unexpected. I actually tore a page of the book (not too badly!) because of the suspense. Either it was suspense or I just didn’t want it to happen. But it did, and sadly, I can’t change it. :C

And I do believe I laughed more in this book than the last three. :) Things Jace and Isabelle say are just pure gold. Simon too. I’m easily amused… But this had me laughing out loud with my mom asking, “Why are you crying?” Me: “Oh nothing. Just these fictional characters always get to my funny bone, mom. You know how it is. No biggy.”

I was actually surprised how far Cassie went with the….”smut”. (nothing major) But I loved it, of course. And no, no one went to South Carolina…..unfortunately. (sadfaceeeee) I was reading a couple parts between Jace and Clary with my own head spinning. I was most likely to pass out faster than Clary if she were too! Let me tell you the DSAS is….*shivers*….

I’m pretty relieved that nothing too drastic happened in this book, seeing as how I’m a hardcore fan of Cassandra’s books. A pretty good bit of action, those was utterly my favorite parts. I’m a big action/comic book reader myself, Simon Lewis. ;P Hit me up. Eh, don’t want to get you into any more trouble than you’re already in…relationship wise.

Also, the new characters are a fascination of mine. Especially one in particular. Very nice, Cassie, I must say. Very nice. Just add to it.

ANYWAY.

All in all, Cassie, YOU DUN GOOD….. YOU DUN GOOD. City of Fallen Angels has to be the best book I’ve read so far this year. I am impressed thoroughly! A++ for you~ :D
